Regional Managing Director – Middle East

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Regional Managing Director – Middle East at جهاز مدينة دمياط الجديدة. The Regional Managing Director will oversee strategic planning and execution for regional initiatives, including market development, stakeholder engagement, and partnership management across Middle Eastern markets. The role involves monitoring regional performance, preparing regular reports, and providing recommendations to senior leadership on growth opportunities and risk mitigation. The Regional Managing Director will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with organizational objectives, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards. The position requires regular virtual meetings with internal and external partners and occasional travel to the region as needed. Qualifications - Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to guide regional teams, set priorities, and drive performance. - Experience in strategic planning, business development, and regional expansion within the Middle East or similar markets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cultures. - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with performance metrics, market analysis, and decision-making under uncertainty. - Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects concurrently. - Knowledge of Middle Eastern economic, regulatory, and cultural contexts; Arabic and English proficiency is highly beneficial. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage. - Previous experience in government entities, urban development, infrastructure, or real estate projects is a plus.
