Job Description

We are pleased to be supporting a fast-growing payments infrastructure startup to appoint a Business Development Associate (circa. SGD$60-66k annual base) into their team. This is a full-time, permanent position created to support the client's plan to expand corridors across the region, thereby requiring a high-ownership Partnerships & Corridors professional to help drive that growth. This role is to be based in Singapore. Job Description You’ll work directly with the Head of Expansion to identify, negotiate and activate new payment corridors. This is a high-context, high-ownership role for someone who can build relationships, structure deals and drive execution from first conversation all the way to a live corridor. You’ll operate across markets, partner with internal teams (Sales, Client Experience, Legal, Finance) and own the full partner lifecycle. - Source and engage potential partners across Southeast Asia - Lead commercial conversations and negotiate partnership terms - Run due diligence, onboarding and contract coordination - Drive cross-functional execution to get corridors live - Maintain market and competitive intelligence - Track pipeline, report progress and keep stakeholders aligned The Successful Candidate - Around 5 years’ experience in payments, fintech or financial services (client experience, onboarding or BD background preferred) - Strong relationship builder who can hold commercial conversations and move partners forward - Commercially sharp — understands deal structure, pricing logic and what makes a partnership work - Comfortable with data, trackers, dashboards and pipeline management - Clear communicator (partner-facing and internal) - Happy using AI tools in day-to-day work - Willingness to travel across the region - Southeast Asia market familiarity is a plus; hunger, adaptability and problem-solving are non-negotiable This is a hands-on role with real ownership and visibility.
