Job Description

Job Title Sales Engineer – Fire-Rated Metal Doors & Hardware Experience section It includes metal ceiling industry, export/international sales, and international travel as mandatory or strongly preferred. If this role is specifically for the sales of fire-rated metal doors, I recommend removing or making those requirements optional, as they may unnecessarily restrict the candidate pool. The JD should focus mainly on: - Fire-rated metal doors, frames and hardware - construction and project sales - Consultants, architects, contractors and developers - Specification selling - Technical/commercial quotations - Project pipeline and tender opportunities - Driving Licence Suggested experience requirement: MANDATORY: Minimum 5–8 years of direct sales experience in metal doors, fire-rated doors, door hardware, security doors, acoustic doors, or other specialist architectural metal products. The candidate must have proven experience selling to consultants, architects, main contractors, developers and specialist subcontractors within the construction industry. Experience in specification selling, project-based sales, technical submittals, BOQ/tender documentation and commercial negotiations is required. A strong existing network within the construction and architectural market will be an advantage.
