Core Banking Test Lead (Mandarin/Chinese speaking)

Core Banking Test Lead Location: Singapore Experience: 8–12+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Function: Technology / Banking Transformation / Quality Engineering Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Test Lead to lead end-to-end testing activities across core banking implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex banking testing programs, with the ability to define test strategy, lead SIT/UAT and integration testing, manage defects and risks, and coordinate testing across business, technology, vendors, and third-party systems. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills and a solid understanding of core banking processes and platforms. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end testing for core banking implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation programs. - Develop and manage the overall test strategy, test plan, scope, timelines, approach, and resource requirements. - Drive test preparation activities, including: - Test scenarios and test cases - Test data preparation - Test environment readiness - Entry/exit criteria - Test execution planning - Lead and oversee SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Coordinate testing activities across business users, technology teams, vendors, system integrators, and third-party applications. - Manage daily test execution, progress tracking, defect identification, triage, prioritization, and resolution. - Establish and monitor testing quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and key milestones. - Conduct defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical and high-priority defects. - Provide regular testing status reports and dashboards to senior stakeholders and program leadership. - Identify testing risks and dependencies and drive appropriate mitigation actions. - Ensure adherence to testing standards, governance, processes, and quality objectives. - Lead test closure activities, including: - Defect sign-off - Test summary reports - Quality assessment - Lessons learned - Production readiness assessment - Support go-live planning, production readiness, and post-go-live/hypercare activities where required. - Manage, guide, and mentor test analysts and testing teams. - Collaborate with project/program managers, business stakeholders, architects, developers, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery. Required Experience & Skills - 8–12+ years of overall software testing experience, with significant experience working as a Test Lead / Test Manager. - Proven track record of delivering multiple Core Banking implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects. - Strong understanding of core banking processes and functional areas, including: - Deposits - Loans - Accounts - Payments - Customer Management - Account servicing and related banking operations - Strong experience across the complete testing lifecycle: - Test strategy and planning - Test preparation - Test execution - Defect management - Test reporting - Test closure - Hands-on experience leading SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Strong experience in stakeholder management across business and technology teams. - Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. - Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, dependencies, and testing teams in complex transformation programs. Preferred Experience - Experience with one or more core banking platforms such as: - Temenos T24 / Transact - Infosys Finacle - Oracle FLEXCUBE - Similar enterprise core banking platforms - Experience in banking transformation and modernization programs. - Experience with core banking data migration testing. - Strong understanding of API and system integration testing. - Experience with payments testing and integration with external payment systems. - Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments. - Experience working with distributed/global teams. - Mandarin/Chinese-speaking capability is highly preferred, particularly for collaboration with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and teams. - ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is an advantage.
