Core Banking Cutover Lead – Singapore Opportunity

Job Description – Core Banking Cutover Lead(Migration/Go live) contract-6-8 months Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Cutover Lead with proven experience delivering multiple core banking implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation programs. The candidate will own the cutover lifecycle from planning and preparation through rehearsals, execution, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization. Key Responsibilities ● Lead end-to-end cutover planning and execution for core banking implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation programs. ● Develop the detailed cutover strategy, plan, timeline, activities, dependencies, and resource requirements. ● Coordinate cutover activities across business, technology, infrastructure, applications, data migration, testing, vendors, and third parties. ● Drive cutover readiness across business, applications, data, infrastructure, and operations. ● Plan and lead cutover rehearsals/dress rehearsals, capturing lessons learned and driving remediation. ● Own the detailed cutover runbook, command center structure, communications, escalation paths, and decision points. ● Lead cutover execution during the go-live window, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timelines. ● Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and critical-path activities. ● Coordinate go/no-go decisions and provide clear status updates to senior stakeholders. ● Lead post-go-live hypercare, stabilization, and transition to BAU/support teams. ● Ensure cutover activities are properly documented and formally closed. Required Experience & Skills ● 8–12+ years of experience in technology/program delivery, with significant experience as a Cutover (migration/transition/go live)Lead/Manager ● Proven experience leading multiple Core Banking implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation programs. ● Strong hands-on experience across the complete cutover lifecycle: planning, preparation, rehearsal, execution, go-live, and hypercare. ● Good understanding of core banking systems, data migration, integrations, interfaces, and upstream/downstream dependencies. ● Strong experience coordinating large, complex, cross-functional teams. ● Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and problem- solving skills. ● Ability to work effectively under pressure during critical go-live and cutover windows. ● Experience managing vendors and third-party partners. Preferred ● Experience with Temenos T24/Transact, Finacle, Oracle FLEXCUBE, or similar core banking platforms. ● Experience with data migration, system integration, payments, and banking applications. ● Experience working on large-scale banking transformation programs. ● Mandarin/Chinese-speaking capability is highly preferred, particularly for working with Chinese-speaking stakeholders or teams. ● Agile/Waterfall delivery experience and relevant project/program management certification is an advantage.
