We’re Hiring: Senior Sales Manager – Exhibitions, Events & Brand Experience Location: UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Availability: Immediate Joining / Short Notice Required Build Up is looking for a highly experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong commercial background in the exhibitions, events, conferences, experiential marketing, brand experience, and exhibition design & build industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing business with government entities, semi-government organizations, major corporations, agencies, and institutional clients across the UAE . This is a senior, hands-on commercial role focused on new business generation, client acquisition, revenue growth, strategic account development, tenders, and closing major projects. We are looking for a proven sales hunter who can identify opportunities, open new accounts, build strong client relationships, and convert opportunities into awarded projects. Key Responsibilities - Generate new business and acquire major clients across the UAE . - Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and semi-government entities, ministries, authorities, major corporations, agencies, and key decision-makers. - Drive sales across: - Exhibitions and exhibition stands - Large-scale pavilions - Events and conferences - Brand experiences - Experiential activations - Turnkey exhibition design & build - Integrated event production solutions - Build and manage a strong commercial pipeline. - Identify upcoming RFPs, RFQs, tenders, framework agreements, and strategic business opportunities. - Lead client meetings, presentations, pitches, proposals, and commercial negotiations. - Coordinate closely with Creative, Design, Estimation, Production, and Operations teams to develop competitive proposals. - Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close major contracts. - Take ownership of sales targets, revenue growth, and new client acquisition. - Maintain strong market intelligence across the UAE exhibition and events sectors. Required Qualifications - Minimum 8+ years of relevant sales, business development, or commercial experience within the exhibitions, events, conferences, experiential, or brand experience industry. - Strong and recent industry experience across exhibitions, events, conferences, experiential activations, and brand experiences. - Proven experience working directly with government and semi-government entities in the UAE . - Demonstrated track record of personally generating new business, winning new clients, building commercial pipelines, and closing major projects. - Strong knowledge of RFPs, tenders, commercial proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract awards. - Strong understanding of exhibition stands, pavilions, event production, experiential activations, brand experiences, and turnkey design & build projects. - Strong UAE market knowledge and client network. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. - Ability to engage confidently with senior government representatives, executives, procurement teams, marketing teams, agencies, and key decision-makers. - Must be available to join immediately or within a very short notice period.
