Quantity Surveyor Lead/Assistant Manager

- Lead the overall quantity surveying and commercial function across projects or business units. - Establish commercial strategies for tendering, procurement, contract administration, and cost management. - Oversee major tenders, pricing strategies, contract reviews, and commercial risk assessments. - Provide direction on complex variations, claims, disputes, and contractual negotiations. - Monitor overall project profitability, cash flow, financial exposure, and commercial performance. - Establish effective systems for cost control, forecasting, reporting, and contract governance. - Lead high-level negotiations with key clients, consultants, contractors, and strategic suppliers. - Oversee final accounts, commercial settlements, recoveries, and project close-out. - Drive improvements in commercial processes, cost efficiency, and financial performance. - Lead, coach, and develop the QS team while providing commercial advice to senior management.
