Job Description

Stickman Tribe is an award-winning international design studio creating exceptional hospitality, food & beverage, retail and lifestyle experiences across the globe. With studios in Dubai, Perth, London and Cebu, we are passionate about crafting meaningful spaces that combine creative excellence with commercial success. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Design Director to lead our creative teams, champion design excellence and shape the future of our design output across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects. As Design Director, you will be the creative leader and design authority within the studio, responsible for driving the overall design vision, maintaining exceptional quality standards and inspiring teams to deliver award-worthy work. You will work closely with the Founder, Studio Leadership and Design Managers to elevate design thinking, strengthen our creative culture and ensure every project reflects the highest standards of innovation and execution. Creative Leadership - Establish and champion the studio's creative vision and design philosophy. - Lead concept development and creative direction across multiple projects. - Inspire and mentor design teams to achieve outstanding creative outcomes. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Design Quality & Excellence - Maintain the highest standards of design quality across all projects. - Review design concepts, presentations and project deliverables. - Provide constructive feedback and guidance to design teams. - Ensure all work aligns with the studio's creative aspirations and client objectives. Team Development - Mentor Senior Designers, Lead Designers and Design Managers. - Support succession planning and talent development initiatives. - Encourage knowledge sharing and professional growth across the studio. - Build a high-performing and engaged design team. Client & Business Contribution - Participate in key client presentations and design workshops. - Support business development initiatives and design proposals. - Represent the studio's design capabilities and creative leadership. - Contribute to the growth and positioning of the Stickman Tribe brand. What We're Looking For Essential - Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline. - 12+ years of professional design experience. - Proven experience in a Design Director, Creative Director or Senior Design Leadership role. - Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional hospitality, F&B, retail or mixed-use projects. - Experience managing and mentoring multidisciplinary design teams. - Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills. - Strong conceptual design, storytelling and creative thinking abilities. Highly Desirable - International project experience. - Experience working with luxury hospitality brands. - Award-winning project experience. - Strong understanding of design delivery and project workflows.
