Job Description
The IT Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support (L1/L2), monitoring network systems, safeguarding data integrity, and ensuring that all hardware, software, and peripheral equipment run smoothly to support business operations. Key Responsibilities - End-User & Helpdesk Support: Provide first- and second-line technical support for employees, handling issues related to hardware, software, printing, and connectivity. Log and track incidents using ITSM tools like ServiceNow. - System & Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, routers, switches, printers, and mobile devices. Perform routine software updates, patches, and antivirus management. - Network & Account Administration: Manage user access, credentials, and groups via Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Assist with basic network troubleshooting and Wi-Fi configuration. - Data Backup & Security: Execute regular data backup procedures and enforce company cybersecurity standards to protect digital assets. - Asset & Vendor Coordination: Maintain precise inventory records of all IT hardware, software licenses, and equipment assignments. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for escalated repairs or procurement. Job Requirements & Qualifications - Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering field. - Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or IT coordination roles. - Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications. - Solid understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN). - Experience handling hardware troubleshooting for diverse end-user tech. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and professional communication. Fluency in English is standard, while knowledge of Arabic is often highly valued or required depending on the company
