WE’RE HIRING | MANAGING CONSULTANT / SENIOR MANAGER (PSYCHOLOGY), GREATER CHINA Based in Hong Kong Are you an experienced business psychologist, HR professional or people consultant who wants to combine the science of assessment with leadership development, client advisory and business growth? Optimal Consultants Hong Kong is looking for a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager (Psychology), Greater China to join our Greater China team. THE ROLE This is a senior consulting role with significant exposure across Hong Kong and Greater China, combining four key dimensions: Client & Business Leadership - Build and manage key client relationships and accounts - Present solutions and advise senior stakeholders - Identify and develop new business opportunities - Contribute to strategies for business growth and market expansion Assessment & Leadership Consulting - Lead leadership potential and succession readiness assessments - Deliver assessment insights and management reports - Facilitate leadership and team development programmes - Facilitate or co-facilitate Hogan Certification Workshops Project Leadership - Lead client engagements across Hong Kong and China - Ensure high-quality project delivery and client experience - Translate assessment science and data into practical leadership and organisational insights Team Leadership - Mentor and develop junior consultants - Inspire collaboration, learning and high performance within the team WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We would like to meet candidates who bring: - A Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, Human Resource Management or a related discipline, ideally with at least 12-15 years of relevant experience - Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with approximately 12–15 years of substantial directly relevant experience - Registered Psychologist and/or Master’s degree holders are strongly preferred - Current or previous experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable - Strong client management, presentation and business development capabilities - Ability to work effectively across cultures and in cross-functional teams - Strong interest in assessment, leadership development and organisational consulting - Fluency in written and spoken Putonghua and English is mandatory WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO This is more than a consulting position.
