Job Description

Account Manager Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–4 Years Agency / Marketing Experience Required Role Overview We are looking for a confident, highly organised and commercially aware Account Manager to manage client relationships and act as the bridge between our clients and internal creative teams. This role goes beyond client communication. You will be responsible for understanding each client’s business and marketing objectives, translating their needs and feedback into clear, actionable direction for the team, and taking ownership of timelines and deliverables from brief through to completion. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of marketing, social media, branding and content strategy, is confident managing clients, and can identify problems, delays and opportunities before they are raised by the client. At any given time, you should know where each account stands, what is due next, what is awaiting approval, and whether anything is at risk of being delayed. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Account Management - Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients. - Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships. - Understand each client’s business objectives, brand direction and marketing needs. - Manage client expectations confidently and professionally. - Conduct regular client check-ins and ensure communication remains proactive. - Understand client requests and feedback rather than simply passing messages between the client and team. - Translate feedback into clear, structured and actionable briefs for internal teams. Project & Workflow Management - Manage the full client delivery cycle from brief → internal coordination → production → feedback → revisions → final delivery. - Create and manage timelines across all assigned accounts. - Coordinate deliverables between strategy, social media, copywriting, design, video and production teams. - Ensure briefs, approvals, assets and feedback are received when required. - Track deadlines closely and proactively follow up with both clients and internal teams. - Identify when a project or deliverable is falling behind and take action before it becomes a client issue. - Ensure client feedback is consolidated and clearly communicated before being passed to the team. - Maintain a clear overview of all ongoing deliverables across multiple accounts. Marketing & Strategic Support - Understand clients’ marketing challenges and help identify practical solutions. - Provide strategic input where appropriate based on marketing and social media knowledge. - Understand the purpose behind campaigns and content rather than focusing only on delivery. - Work with internal teams to ensure creative output remains aligned with the client’s objectives and brand. - Identify opportunities to improve client activity, campaigns or content direction. Upselling & Account Growth - Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that genuinely benefit the client. - Understand the agency’s wider capabilities and recognise where additional support could add value. - Confidently communicate the value of relevant services to clients. - Support account retention and agency revenue growth through strong client relationships and appropriate account expansion. Problem Solving - Identify potential issues early and propose solutions before they escalate. - Handle client concerns, feedback and challenging conversations professionally. - Use marketing knowledge and sound judgement when a concept, strategy or direction needs adjustment. - Balance client expectations with internal capabilities, timelines and agreed scope. - Escalate risks when necessary while taking ownership of finding a solution. Communication & Reporting - Provide clients with clear updates on projects, deliverables and timelines. - Present reports, recommendations and creative work confidently. - Ensure approvals and feedback are collected within agreed timelines. - Document meeting notes, decisions and action points clearly. - Keep internal records, client information and tasks updated in the CRM. - Ensure relevant team members always have the information they need to move forward. Skills & QualificationsRequired - 2–4 years of experience within a marketing/creative agency or client-facing marketing role. - Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, social media, content, branding and creative production. - Excellent client communication and relationship-management skills. - Confident personality with the ability to manage expectations and difficult conversations. - Strong project and timeline management skills. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions. - Ability to translate client needs and feedback into clear internal direction. - Ability to manage multiple clients, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously. - Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. - Proactive approach — able to identify what needs attention without waiting to be told. - Strong written and spoken English. - Arabic is a plus. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their accounts. You should not need to be reminded to check whether something is late, chase an approval or update a client. You should naturally stay ahead of your accounts, know what is happening across every project you manage, and ensure both the client and internal team have clarity on what happens next. You should be equally comfortable speaking to a client, briefing a creative team, managing a timeline, solving a problem and identifying an opportunity to grow an account.
