For our site office in Dubai, we are looking for Plumbing Engineer - 100% (m/f) The ideal candidate will have strong experience in plumbing, public health, water supply, drainage, and pumped systems for airports, aviation facilities, industrial buildings, or large infrastructure developments. The candidate should be confident reviewing technical designs, calculations, specifications, submittals, authority requirements, and multidisciplinary interfaces while maintaining strong technical quality, safety, and constructability awareness Responsibilities: - Review and coordinate plumbing, public health, potable water, hot water, foul drainage, storm drainage, pumped systems, and associated deliverables. - Review plumbing systems for aircraft hangars, MRO facilities, airport terminals, aviation facilities, and other large operational buildings. - Review potable water systems, hot water generation, water storage tanks, booster systems, pressure requirements, and distribution networks. - Review GRP, HDPE, PPR, copper, stainless steel, and other appropriate pipework systems and material selections. - Review above-ground and below-ground drainage systems, including foul drainage, soil and waste systems, stormwater drainage, roof drainage, and pumped drainage. - Assess drainage requirements for aircraft hangars and aviation facilities, including floor drainage, trench drains, equipment drainage, wash-down areas, and operational interfaces. - Review hazmat-related drainage requirements, including bunding, interceptors, chemical-resistant drainage, spill containment, retention volumes, and environmental protection interfaces. - Coordinate external potable water networks, water tanks, pumping systems, utility connections, and site infrastructure interfaces. - Review plumbing calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings, schematics, equipment schedules, material submittals, method statements, BOQs, technical queries, and design response documentation. - Support Dubai Municipality, DEWA, utility authorities, airport stakeholders, and other relevant authority submission and approval processes. - Coordinate plumbing requirements with architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, controls, civil, utilities, environmental, BIM/CAD, construction, and commissioning teams. - Support design workshops, technical meetings, quality reviews, constructability assessments, testing and commissioning planning, and close-out of interdisciplinary comments. - Ensure plumbing and public health systems comply with applicable standards, local authority requirements, safety principles, maintainability expectations, and ARX quality procedures Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 7 to 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years reviewing plumbing, public health, water supply, and drainage submittals in the Gulf. - Airport or aviation facilities experience is required, preferably including aircraft hangars, MRO facilities, terminals, operational buildings, or large airport infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of potable water, hot water, cold water, water storage, booster systems, foul drainage, storm drainage, pumped systems, and external utility connections. - Experience with aircraft hangar and aviation facility drainage, including floor drains, trench drains, wash-down systems, equipment drainage, and large-capacity drainage networks. - Good understanding of hazmat drainage, bunding, interceptors, chemical-resistant drainage, spill retention, and environmental protection requirements. - Experience with GRP, HDPE, PPR, copper, stainless steel, and other plumbing pipe materials, including appropriate application and installation requirements. - Experience supporting DEWA, Dubai Municipality, airport authorities, utility authorities, or equivalent authority submission and approval cycles. - Good knowledge of relevant IPC, BS EN 12056, BS EN standards, DEWA regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, UAE codes, and applicable international plumbing standards. - Ability to review drawings, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications, material submittals, method statements, BOQs, design reports, and commissioning documentation. - Middle East experience is preferred, with UAE authority coordination exposure considered an advantage. - Strong communication, coordination, technical documentation, problem-solving, and professional English skills.
