As we strengthen our Singapore operation, we are looking for a highly capable Office & Operations Manager who can take genuine ownership of the office, manage the team, and provide practical HR and people-management support. We operate with a lean and entrepreneurial structure and value people who are proactive, resourceful, quick to learn and comfortable taking responsibility. The Role This is not a traditional administrative Office Manager position. You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Singapore office and become the primary point of contact for operational and people matters. We need someone who can think independently, make sensible decisions, solve problems and get things done without requiring constant direction from senior management. Key Responsibilities - Take ownership of day-to-day office operations and ensure the office runs efficiently. - Manage and support employees, setting clear expectations and following up on responsibilities. - Oversee attendance, punctuality, working hours, leave and general office procedures. - Handle employee onboarding, documentation and routine HR matters. - Support probation, performance discussions and employee relations. - Establish and consistently apply practical workplace policies and processes. - Address performance, conduct or attendance issues professionally and promptly. - Coordinate suppliers, service providers and other operational requirements. - Identify problems and inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions. - Keep senior management appropriately informed while independently handling routine matters. - Support future onboarding as the Singapore team grows. What We’re Looking For - We are looking for someone with a combination of operations capability, leadership ability and practical HR experience. - The ideal candidate will have: - Strong academic qualifications from a recognised institution. - Relevant experience in office management, operations, business administration or a similar role. - Hands-on experience managing people and handling general HR responsibilities. - Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. - Confidence setting expectations, holding people accountable and handling difficult conversations professionally. - Strong initiative, common sense and sound judgment. - The ability to learn quickly and operate independently. - A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused working style. - Strong written and spoken English. - Working knowledge of Singapore employment practices is highly preferred. What Success Looks Like - Within the first few months, you should be able to take genuine ownership of the Singapore office. Employees should have clear expectations around working hours, attendance, leave, performance and workplace conduct, while routine operational and people matters should no longer require constant senior management involvement. Why Join? - Take on a role with real ownership and influence, working closely with the Founder to shape our Singapore operations and workplace culture. As the business grows, there will be opportunities for broader leadership and career progression. - Competitive and flexible compensation will reflect the successful candidate’s experience, capability and overall fit.
