Vice President / Associate, Global Markets Trade Support (FICC / Equity Derivatives)

We are seeking a Trade Support professional to manage the post-trade lifecycle across FICC / Equity Derivatives products. You will act as a key liaison between the trading desk, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure trade accuracy, timely settlement, and operational risk mitigation. Job Responsibilities: - Accurately capture and validate trades in booking systems (e.g., Bloomberg TOMS/AIMS or internal platforms) post-execution. - Manage trade affirmation/confirmation and coordinate with custodians and Prime Brokers to ensure timely settlement and resolve trade failures. - Monitor corporate actions (coupons, redemptions, mergers, credit events) and derivative lifecycle events (resets, fixings, rolls, compressions). - Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparty statements to identify and resolve breaks. - Assist with margin call calculations (Initial/Variation) for cleared and bilateral OTC derivatives. - Assist with HKTR reporting and post-trade processing. - Provide real-time support to the trading desk on post-trade issues and collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT on escalations and process improvements. - Participate in ad-hoc initiatives to support new products and automate manual processes. Job Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. - Candidates with an IT background or education are strongly preferred. - 4+ years in Trade Support, Middle Office, or Settlements. - Experience in using AI to enhance process efficiency and automation is highly desirable. - Hands-on experience with at least three product types: Rates & Credit (Bonds, Repos, IRS, CDS), Equity Derivatives (Options, Swaps, TRS), FX/Commodities, or MBS/CMOs. - Strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg; scripting skills (Python/VBA/SQL) are a plus. - Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to multi-task under pressure, and a collaborative mindset. - Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
