- Group FP&A role - Financial Modelling/ Variance Analysis About Our Client Our client is a renowned group in Asia and they are hiring a FP&A Manager/ Assistant Manager for their group finance team. Job Description As a FP&A Manager/ Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include: Financial Planning & Analysis - Coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises across business units. - Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year performance. - Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. - Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to management. Management Reporting - Prepare financial presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders. - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial information. - Analyze business performance and provide commentary on financial results and operational drivers. Process Improvement - Support continuous enhancement of planning, reporting, and forecasting processes. - Drive automation and reporting improvements to increase efficiency and data quality. The Successful Applicant A Successful Assistant Finance Manager Should Have - A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent. - 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A/ Management Reporting. - Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications. - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
