Role Description The Accountant will handle the day-to-day financial operations of Al Hofuf Stars Trading Co., ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and local regulations. Responsibilities include recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and cash-flow monitoring, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as banks and auditors. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region, requiring consistent presence at the company’s premises and close collaboration with operational and management teams. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and transaction recording. - Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, budgeting support, and cash-flow monitoring. - Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. - Candidates should possess skills in reconciliation of bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts. - Candidates should possess skills in using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel). - Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred. - Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local financial regulations in Saudi Arabia is beneficial. - Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of numerical accuracy are required. - Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams are important. - Prior experience in trading, distribution, or similar business environments is an advantage.
