Job Description

Family office style Asset Management firm is seeking an junior level Investment Analyst. You will be contributing to research, idea generation, and the analysis of market opportunities—particularly across rates, FX, and structured products. Candidates must be able to speak Mandarin, and preferably have passed the HKSI paper 1 exam. Responsibilities · Support idea generation for potential investment opportunities across portfolios and strategies – asking the right questions · Execute orders with great accuracy and focus · Perform macro research to develop and test investment theses, including catalyst and scenario analysis. · Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to: - Rates (e.g., curve dynamics, duration/convexity considerations, relative value) - FX (e.g., macro drivers, carry, risk dynamics, hedging considerations) - Structured products (e.g., payoff analysis, implied pricing, sensitivity/Greeks, scenario outcomes) · Synthesize findings into clear investment views, memos, and internal presentations. · Build and maintain models/spreadsheets to support trade evaluation and ongoing monitoring. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or any related discipline · HKSI license paper 1 is preferred · 1-2 years of working experience preferably in the financial field, someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and has good attention to detail – be an execution specialist, learning how the internal system works and preparing drafts etc · Knowledge of basic automation work using python is preferred · Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
