Treasury Markets Associate (one-year contract)

We are seeking ambitious and forward-thinking talents who are passionate about building career within the Markets Group across treasury marketing & advisory, FX sales & trading, capital markets product development, and portfolio management. Ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years' experience with strong AI and data analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities Treasury Marketing & Advisory - Support marketing strategies for treasury products targeting corporate and FI clients. - Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and market updates on FX, rates, and money market products. - Conduct market research and provide advisory on hedging solutions and risk management strategies. FX Sales & Trading Support - Assist with pre- and post-trade support, pricing coordination, and trade idea generation. - Monitor currency markets and prepare daily market color reports. - Support execution of FX spot, forwards, swaps, and options; maintain pricing and P&L dashboards. Capital Markets Product Development - Collaborate on development and launch of new capital markets products and structured investments. - Prepare product documentation, term sheets, and marketing materials. - Conduct competitive analysis and support regulatory compliance reviews. Portfolio Management & Analytics - Assist to monitor treasury portfolio positions, cash flows, and ALM indicators. - Develop analytical frameworks for performance attribution, risk reporting, and scenario analysis. - Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior leadership. Requirements Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field. - Fresh graduate or 1–2 years' experience in treasury, global markets, or financial services. Technical Skills - AI Competencies: Hands-on experience with LLM-based assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot). - Data Analysis & Visualization: Strong Excel skills; proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries. - Programming (Preferred): Basic Python, SQL, or VBA knowledge. Core Competencies - Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills (English, Cantonese, Mandarin). - Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment; strong stakeholder management.
