Job Description
Responsibilities - Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of equipment and systems at customer sites. - Diagnose equipment faults and carry out corrective repairs to restore systems to normal operation. - Conduct preventive maintenance activities in accordance with service schedules and technical procedures. - Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and end users. - Inspect equipment condition and recommend necessary repairs, replacement parts, or system improvements. - Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation following each service visit. - Coordinate with internal technical, operations, and spare-parts teams to resolve service issues efficiently. - Guide customers on proper equipment operation, routine maintenance practices, and basic troubleshooting procedures. - Ensure all service activities comply with applicable safety requirements, quality standards, and company procedures. - Support equipment upgrades, modifications, sea trials, or field testing where required. Requirements - Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Typically 2–5 years of hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, marine engineering, mechanical/electrical systems, or a related technical environment. - Candidates with relevant naval, maritime, or military engineering and maintenance experience are welcome to apply. - Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical, electrical, electronic, or marine equipment, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals. - Good communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills, with the ability to work independently at customer sites and travel locally or overseas when required.
