Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with about 5–6 years construction experience in SG to support a 3,000 sqm office and cleanroom retrofit project in a new B1 industrial building in Kallang. The role will focus on cost control, variation assessment, progress claims and contract administration. - Employment Type: 6 months contract - Work Location: Kallang - Salary up to S$7,000 per month Key Responsibilities - Manage project cost control, budgeting and cost monitoring - Prepare and assess variation orders and variation claims - Handle progress claims, valuations and subcontractor payments - Manage contract administration and contractual documentation - Review quotations, tenders and subcontractor submissions - Monitor project costs and highlight potential cost overruns - Liaise closely with the project team, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders - Support commercial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle Key Requirements: - Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or related discipline - 5 to 6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Singapore construction industry - Strong experience in cost control, variation assessment and contract administration is essential - Experience in cleanroom, industrial, fit-out or M&E-related projects would be advantageous - Good understanding of construction contracts, progress claims and subcontractor management - Able to work independently in a fast-paced, site-based project environment - Available to start work immediately or within a short notice and comfortable committing to a 6-month project assignment
