Role Description The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the structural design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include performing detailed calculations, reviewing and validating structural models, preparing design drawings and technical reports, and coordinating closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders. The role involves guiding junior engineers, reviewing their work, and providing technical mentorship to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables. The Senior Structural Engineer will also participate in site visits, resolve construction-related issues, and support client meetings and project presentations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with demonstrated experience in building and/or infrastructure projects. - Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations, including the ability to interpret and apply relevant design codes and standards. - Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related structural design software for preparing and reviewing drawings and models. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. - Professional registration or eligibility for registration (e.g., Chartered Engineer or equivalent) is preferred. - Proven ability to lead projects, mentor junior team members, and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. - Experience working in the Gulf region or familiarity with local regulations and standards is an advantage.
