Job Description

The Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for performing and supporting civil and structural engineering design activities for the Projects. Key Responsibilities - Perform civil and structural analysis and design activities for Oil & Gas facilities. - Develop and review structural design calculations, engineering analyses and associated technical documentation. - Carry out structural modelling, analysis and design using STAAD.Pro and MAT3D. - Apply relevant American design codes and standards, including AISC and ACI, in engineering design activities. - Ensure designs comply with applicable TOTAL GS (General Specification) requirements. - Review civil/structural engineering drawings, calculations and design deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance. - Provide technical input and engineering solutions for structural design issues arising during project execution. - Coordinate civil/structural engineering interfaces with other engineering disciplines. - Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and technical coordination activities. - Identify design discrepancies, technical risks and potential engineering issues and recommend appropriate solutions. - Support technical queries, design clarifications and engineering changes relating to civil and structural works. - Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project requirements, schedules and applicable standards. - Maintain appropriate engineering documentation and design records. - Support the engineering/project team as required throughout the assignment. Minimum Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. - Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience. - Extensive structural design experience specifically within the Oil & Gas industry. - Demonstrable experience working on major Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCC or similar engineering projects is highly desirable. - Strong experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis.
