Head of Operations 📍 Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) 🏡 Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time 🎯 Experience Level: Head of Department / Senior ManagementAbout the Role We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Head of Operations to lead and optimize the company's operational activities in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, improving business processes, managing operational performance, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that business activities are delivered efficiently and in line with company objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in business operations, process improvement, team leadership, performance management, resource planning, project management, and operational strategy.Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives. - Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure efficient service delivery. - Establish operational goals, KPIs, performance standards, and reporting processes. - Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement. - Develop and optimize workflows, procedures, and business processes. - Drive initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost control. - Coordinate with Finance, HR, IT, Sales, Customer Success, and other departments. - Manage operational resources, budgets, schedules, and priorities. - Lead cross-functional projects and strategic operational initiatives. - Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. - Monitor service levels, operational costs, productivity, and business performance. - Prepare regular operational reports, dashboards, and management presentations. - Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers where required. - Support business expansion, scaling, and organizational development initiatives. - Lead, coach, mentor, and develop operational teams. - Establish clear accountability and performance-management practices. - Drive automation, digitalization, and continuous process improvement. - Ensure operational policies and procedures are consistently implemented. - Support business continuity and operational resilience planning. - Provide senior management with operational insights and recommendations. - Ensure the organization maintains high standards of efficiency, quality, and customer service.What We're Looking For - Strong operational and strategic leadership capabilities. - Proven experience managing business operations or operational teams. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Strong understanding of business processes and performance management. - Strong analytical and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects. - Strong financial and resource-management awareness. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong process-improvement and change-management capabilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote environment. - Strong English communication skills. - Arabic language skills are an advantage. - UAE / GCC business and operational experience is highly advantageous.Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline. - MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage. - Significant experience in operations management, business operations, or a related leadership role. - Proven experience managing teams, operational KPIs, budgets, and business processes. - Experience leading process improvement, digital transformation, or business scaling initiatives. - Familiarity with ERP, CRM, project-management, business-intelligence, or operational systems is preferred. - Experience in an international or multi-market organization is beneficial.What We Offer - Hybrid / Remote working options - Senior operations leadership opportunity in the UAE - Opportunity to shape and improve business operations - Direct exposure to senior management and strategic initiatives - Professional development and leadership opportunities - Flexible and collaborative working environment - Opportunity to lead cross-functional teams - Career progression within operations and business leadershipHow to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV, including relevant operations leadership experience, team-management responsibilities, operational achievements, KPI results, process-improvement projects, and relevant qualifications. - We welcome applications from Heads of Operations, Operations Directors, Operations Managers, Business Operations Directors, General Managers, Operations Leaders, and experienced senior operations professionals interested in leadership opportunities in the UAE.
