Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform quantity take-offs, and assist in tender preparation and evaluation. The role includes monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, and updating cost reports throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will support cost control measures, evaluate variations and claims, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial and contractual administration. Qualifications - Strong cost management competencies, including Cost Management, Cost Planning, and Cost Reporting skills. - Proficiency in Cost Control practices to monitor budgets, track expenditures, and support cost optimization. - Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and tender documentation. - Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. - Familiarity with standard construction contracts and local building codes and regulations in Singapore. - Ability to work accurately with numerical data, with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. - Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams. - Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel and quantity surveying or cost estimation tools.
