Job Description

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker's, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa and Kumo. We are seeking an experienced General Manager – F&B to lead the overall performance of a restaurant concept, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. The role will be responsible for maximizing profitability, maintaining brand standards, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the complete operations and performance of the restaurant concept. - Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and operational targets. - Manage P&L performance, including sales growth, labor cost, food cost, and operational expenses. - Lead and develop Restaurant Managers and operational teams to achieve business objectives. - Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, SOPs, and service excellence. - Analyze business performance reports and implement improvement strategies. - Drive guest satisfaction initiatives and enhance overall customer experience. - Support new openings, expansion projects, and operational readiness. - Collaborate with culinary, marketing, finance, HR, and supply chain teams. - Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies. Requirements - Minimum 8–10 years of F&B experience, with proven experience as a General Manager or senior operations leader. - Strong experience managing high-volume restaurants or multiple outlets. - Demonstrated experience in P&L management and achieving financial targets. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage large teams. - Experience in premium casual dining, fine dining, or multi-brand restaurant environments preferred. - Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities. - Strong understanding of F&B trends, guest experience, and operational excellence.
