Job Description
Responsibilities: - Gather and analyze business and client requirements. - Work directly with traders, business stakeholders, clients, exchanges and vendors. - Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions. - Support electronic trading applications and troubleshoot production issues. - Act as a third-line support contact for complex incidents. - Support exchange connectivity and market access projects. - Participate in testing, deployment and platform enhancements. - Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency. Mandatory Skills: - Equities - Market Data - Network Architecture - Python - Trading Mandatory Skills Description: - Strong 5 years' experience within Investment Banking, Electronic Trading, cash equities or Capital Markets Technology - Excellent communication skills to interface with business sponsors, clients and third parties - Good understanding of Cash Equities trading workflows. - Experience with electronic trading platforms and market connectivity. - Exposure to front-office trading environments. - Knowledge of exchange infrastructure and trading technology. Technical Skills: - Strong Python and Unix skills (especially Linux) including shell scripting - Strong FIX messaging experience within an electronic trading capacity - Familiar with broad areas of trading technology (including FPGA, low-latency networks, low-latency - Application development and exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG & OCG) - Expertise in Equities Trading platforms and the Trading Life Cycle (Low-latency trading, co-location setup) - Experience with systems across front, middle, and back office - Application troubleshooting and production support Business Analysis Skills: - Requirements gathering and documentation - Stakeholder management - Process analysis and solution design - Testing and implementation support - APAC market exposure (Hong Kong, Japan, China, Taiwan or Australia). - Experience in low-latency trading environments. - Knowledge of pre- and post-trade risk systems. - Familiarity with vendor trading platforms and exchange connectivity solutions. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Language Skills Mandarin/Cantonese language skills advantageous for Hong Kong-based candidates. Languages: English: C2 Proficient Standard Chinese: C1 Advanced
