About the role Arabian Private Holdings requires a Junior Automation Specialist to support a specific mandate for a Dubai-based financial services firm. This role exists to identify manual bottlenecks within financial reporting cycles and build stable, automated solutions to resolve them. By ensuring these data flows are handled correctly, you help the firm maintain the clarity and rigor required for high-stakes decision-making. About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings was founded on the principle that many critical business problems do not fit the traditional large-firm consulting model. A board facing a succession question or a family group weighing a capital injection does not need a team of twelve associates and a hundred-page methodology deck. They need experienced partners who can sit with a problem, form a rigorous view, and defend it. We take on a limited number of mandates to ensure that every client receives direct attention from the principals who are actually accountable for the outcome. Our work covers corporate strategy, governance, and operating model efficiency for significant regional entities. We operate as a fully remote firm, choosing to prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over traditional office overhead. What you will do - Map out manual workflows in the client's current reporting and data entry cycles. - Set up automated scripts and sequences to move data between internal systems and external databases. - Monitor the health of existing automation pipes to ensure no data is lost during transit. - Document the logic and architecture of every automated process for future governance audits. - Provide a technical view to the principals on which tools best support portfolio clarity. - Test new automation sequences thoroughly to identify errors before they affect client reports. - Assist in the rationalization of software used by the Dubai-based financial services firm to reduce complexity. - Produce simple, clear status updates on system performance for non-technical colleagues. What we are looking for - A logical approach to problem-solving and an interest in how business systems interact. - Basic familiarity with scripting languages or low-code automation tools. - The ability to explain technical sequences in plain, professional English. - High attention to detail when checking data accuracy and system logs. - Strong writing skills and the ability to document processes clearly. - Willingness to learn the specific governance requirements of holding companies and financial entities. - A preference for simple, reliable solutions over complex or fragile setups.
