KEY ATTRIBUTES: - Architectural Design Leadership: Conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation in accordance with SBC, IBC, and NFPA standards. - Construction Supervision & QA/QC: Comprehensive oversight of architectural finishes, facades, and the building envelope with an emphasis on defect-free delivery. - Technical Submittal Authority: Expert review of shop drawings, ITP, MOS, material submittals, and mock-ups utilizing Procore, Aconex, and Bluebeam. - Software & BIM Coordination: AutoCAD, Autodesk products, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Aconex, SAP ZenHR, MS Office 365. - Standards & Compliance: Extensive knowledge of SBC, IBC, ICC, ASTM, AAMA, SASO, MOMRA, FIDIC, ARAMCO SAEP, and RC standards. - Client Portfolio: Proven delivery for ARAMCO, Royal Commission, SABIC, MODON, KFUPM. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: 1. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION, QUALITY CONTROL & SITE EXECUTION · Provide comprehensive oversight of all architectural and finishing tasks, from site mobilization through DLP to final handover. · Perform daily and phased inspections of the building envelope, including the curtain wall, aluminum and glazing, gypsum partitions, flooring, tiling, ceilings, paint, and exterior cladding. · Verify all workmanship in accordance with the approved Shop Drawings, technical specifications, material samples, and Saudi Building Code requirements. · Oversee the material QC process by reviewing submittals, witnessing site deliveries, coordinating testing, and rejecting nonconforming materials in accordance with SASO/ASTM standards. · Oversee the construction, review, and approval of architectural mock-ups, making sure they’re up to standard. Use these mock-ups as the benchmark for site quality to ensure everything meets expectations. · Prepare, monitor, and finalize snag lists and NCRs. Conduct pre-handover and final inspections to ensure compliance with client and consultant requirements. · Coordinate across Structural, MEP, Civil, and Landscape teams to address interface issues and minimize rework. · Ensure HSE compliance, proper PPE usage, and good housekeeping. Take part in ARAMCO/RC safety walkthroughs and toolbox talks. 2. TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION, DRAWING & SUBMITTAL MANAGEMENT · Thorough review and approval of contractor submittals, including Shop Drawings, ITP, MOS, Material Data Sheets, and mock-up proposals. · Managing mark-up and revision control of architectural drawings with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu, making sure the most recent revisions are shared with the site. · Manage all project documentation across Procore, Aconex, SAP, and ZenHR, including RFIs, Site Instructions, transmittals, and correspondence. · Manage and monitor RFIs, working with the design team and client to secure prompt clarifications and avoid site delays. · Compile and verify as-built drawings, material warranties, O&M manuals, and closeout dossiers in accordance with client requirements. · Ensure that all documentation and execution meet the standards set by SBC, IBC, ICC, ASTM, AAMA, NFPA, FIDIC, SASO, MOMRA, and the client-specific ARAMCO/RC standards. 3. DESIGN COORDINATION, CODES & CLIENT INTERFACE · Represent the architectural discipline with confidence and warmth in reviews, meetings, and presentations to ensure an engaging presence. · Offer design solutions that effectively balance aesthetics, functionality, cost, and constructability, all while maintaining the original design intent. · Support and follow up with MOMRA and local authorities on municipal approvals, building permits, and completion certificates. · Serve as the primary point of contact among the client, consultant, and contractor for all architectural issues and technical choices. · Deliver projects to key KSA clients, including ARAMCO, Royal Commission (Riyadh, Jubail, Al-Ula), SABIC, MODON, and KFUPM, ensuring full adherence to their engineering standards. 4. Codes, Standards & Regulatory Compliance · Extensive knowledge and application of standards such as Saudi Building Code (SBC), International Building Code (IBC), NFPA, FIDIC, ICC, ADA, ASTM, SASO, and MOMRA. · Familiarity with AAMA, AATCC, ANSI, AWI, AWS, BHMA, NEMA, NTMA, IECC, IFC, IMC, IPC, NEC, HSE, and other industry standards. · Guaranteeing that every construction activity complies with municipal, ARAMCO, Royal Commission, and client-specific standards. 5. Client & Stakeholder Engagement · Proven record of delivering projects for ARAMCO, the Royal Commission in Riyadh, Jubail, Al Ula, SABIC's first industrial project in Dammam, MODON's second project in Dammam, and KFUPM in Dhahran. · Maintain strong communication and coordination with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors to achieve project goals. · Known for problem-solving, time management, organization, and leading multidisciplinary teams under pressure.
