AVP/Manager - Product Risk Management

Responsibilities: - Work closely with product owners and various stakeholders to ensure that the inherent risks of the new product have been appropriately identified, assessed and monitored - Facilitate new product approval process such as advice on approval process, risk assessment, approval meeting arrangement, post-approval checking etc - Review regular and ad hoc ongoing product reviews submitted by product owners of all business units - Maintain relevant new product approval policies and update them timely to meet regulatory / head office requirements, internal risk management standards and business needs - Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on product risk management for management oversight - Handle other regular and ad hoc product risk related issues Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking industry, preferably in product risk management - Understand regulatory requirements for product risk management on various products, particularly wealth management products, treasury products and cross border collaborative products - Familiar with products of various banking units including corporate/commercial banking, consumer banking and private banking - Have aptitude and patience to learn new risk management tools, and capable to complete and implement tasks under product risk management framework - Strong interpersonal skills and written communications in Mandarin and English Applicants who are not contacted within 8 weeks may consider their applications unsuccessful and their personal data will be retained by the bank for a period up to two years.
