Join the School of Engineering at UOWD | Adjunct Teaching Opportunities | Autumn 2026 The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is inviting applications from qualified academics and industry professionals to join the School of Engineering as Adjunct Lecturers and Adjunct Tutors for Autumn 2026 starting from 21 September to 15 December 2026. We are seeking passionate educators with expertise in Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and related disciplines to support the delivery of undergraduate engineering subjects. We are currently recruiting adjunct faculty for subjects including: ✔ Geomechanics (CIVL361) ✔ Differential Equations (MATH291) ✔ Elements of Engineering Mathematics (MATH042) ✔ Introduction to Statistics (STAT040) These subjects form a critical part of our accredited engineering programs and provide students with the mathematical, analytical, and technical foundations required for professional engineering practice. We welcome applications from candidates with: ✅ A Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline ✅ Previous university teaching, tutoring, laboratory instruction, or professional training experience ✅ Strong subject expertise in one or more of the advertised disciplines ✅ A passion for teaching and supporting student success ✅ Industry experience is highly regarded, particularly in: - Civil & Geotechnical Engineering - Engineering Design & Construction - Applied Mathematics - Data Analytics & Statistics - Engineering Consulting - Infrastructure & Technology Sectors 📌 Eligibility Requirement: Adjunct appointments are part-time and do not include visa sponsorship.
