Accounts Payable Accountant

About the Company OMODA & JAECOO operate in Saudi Arabia as a direct subsidiary and consumer-centric brand under Chery Automobile, offering modern, tech-focused SUVs through official local showrooms About the Role We are looking for a local SA Accounts Payable Accountant for our head office in Riyadh with minimum of 3 years experience preferred at automotive or appliance companies. Responsibilities - Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data - Process and verify invoices in a timely and accurate manner - Manage fixed asset accounts and oversee depreciation schedules - Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements - Maintain vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Support month-end closing activities - Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable (experience in the automotive or home appliances industry is preferred) - Working knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred) - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting - Experience with SAP is an advantage - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to engage professionally with vendors and internal teams Required Skills - Strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in accounting software. - Excellent communication skills. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of local tax regulations. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Experienced using SAP software Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary based on experience.
