Job Description

We're representing a large industrial group headquartered in Singapore — thousands of employees across plants and offices, real turnover pressure, and a leadership team that has stopped treating wellbeing as fruit baskets and started treating it as risk, retention and performance. They're standing up a dedicated wellbeing function with genuine authority: psychosocial risk sits under Singapore's WSH framework now, the Workplace Fairness legislation is coming, and the board wants one owner. This is for the wellbeing professional tired of running programmes that treat symptoms — here, the mandate is to change the causes. What You'd Own - Build the group wellbeing strategy — mental, physical, and psychosocial — as enterprise architecture, not an events calendar - Own psychosocial risk management: assessment, mitigation and governance aligned to the WSH Act, the Tripartite Advisory on Mental Well-Being, and ISO 45003 - Fix causes, not symptoms: workload design, shift patterns, manager capability in psychological safety — with HR and operations at the table - Stand up and lead a small wellbeing team, plus the EAP, clinical and vendor ecosystem around it - Prepare the group for the Workplace Fairness Act's mental-health provisions before they're enforced, not after What You'll Bring - 8+ years across workplace wellbeing, occupational health, organisational psychology, or HR with a wellbeing mandate — with at least one programme built at scale - Working knowledge of Singapore's psychosocial-risk and workplace mental-health frameworks (WSH, Tripartite Advisory; ISO 45003 familiarity a plus) - Experience in operational or industrial workforces preferred — where wellbeing means shift workers and plant floors, not just office ergonomics - The evidence habit: programmes you've run with measured outcomes in retention, absence, or claims — not participation rates - Credibility with both a works council and a boardroom - A growth mindset with new technology — you learn the tools before you're told to, and you're honest about what you don't know yet - The ability to give feedback that lands and receive it without armour - Stakeholder management across functions — you keep the right people close, informed, and on side - Communication skills that hold up with senior leaders — clear, concise, and credible in the rooms where decisions get made You'll Thrive Here If - You've run wellness programmes everyone praised and nobody funded properly — and you're done with that version of the job - You believe wellbeing is organisational design, and you can hold your own arguing it with a COO - You want to build the function other companies will benchmark against Data Privacy & Consent The Talent Lever collects, uses, and discloses the personal data you submit with your application in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Your data will be used to assess your suitability for this role and for related recruitment purposes, will be shared with our client only with your prior knowledge, and will be retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. You may withdraw consent, or request access to or correction of your personal data at any time. By applying, you also consent to receive communications from The Talent Lever about job opportunities and career development resources that may suit your profile. You can opt out at any time. Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. Most people won't put themselves forward unless they meet every line, we'd rather you did. We know our clients well. If you're close, we'll champion you and advise them accordingly.
