Job Overview We are seeking a highly sophisticated Senior Research Engineer to lead the validation, testing, and dependability engineering of our advanced automated AI platform. This role focuses on structural software verification, safety ontology modeling, and non-destructive testing (NDT) radiography analysis. You will develop deterministic verification frameworks and stress-test machine learning architectures to ensure the safety, compliance, and structural reliability of automated diagnostic platforms maintaining critical grid assets. Key Responsibilities - Architecture & Ingestion: Research and design the automated platform testing architecture for multi-modal X-ray radiography dataset ingestion and data-quality vetting. - Data Auditing & Security: Develop data-auditing feature extraction models to isolate sample bias, label contradictions, and data-poisoning anomalies within the training and testing datasets. - Accuracy Evaluation: Evaluate AI pattern recognition accuracy thresholds when third-party image processors attempt to detect hidden cracks under heavy metallic noise or low-contrast backgrounds. - Adversarial Stress Testing: Develop adversarial injection stress-testing methods (e.g., FGSM, DeepFool) to intentionally probe, disrupt, and profile the operational failure boundaries of inspection models. - Topology Analysis: Analyze third-party neural network layer topologies, tracing node activation feedback and checking neuron boundary coverage to audit model stability. - Compliance & Ontology: Develop formal safety ontology logic models and deterministic, code-based verification rules to automatically judge whether an image processor meets industrial compliance. - System Integration: Perform comprehensive platform integration, system reliability tuning, and modification of multi-format automated reporting code (PDF/Word output matching GJB 11592 equivalents). Job Requirements Education: Doctoral degree (PhD) in Systems Engineering and/or advanced degrees in engineering from a world-class technical institution. Core Research Foundation: Robust research background in neural networks, artificial intelligence systems, graph representation learning, failure mechanism analytics, and safety ontology modeling. Remuneration Package Base Salary: 40,000 HKD per month,Housing Allowance: 10,000 HKD per month bonuses: Annual Bonuses ,Medical Benefits: Comprehensive medical and dental insurance coverage. Retirement: Statutory MPF contributions. Leave: Paid annual leave alongside regular HKSAR public holiday.
