Job Description

Core BIM leadership skills - Managing and developing a BIM team of 10+ modellers/coordinators - Workload allocation and delivery planning - QA/QC ownership and final model/drawing sign-off - Training, mentoring and upskilling BIM team members - Performance management and team development - Ability to challenge engineers, consultants and project teams - Strong communication, presentation and meeting leadership BIM management / governance - BIM Execution Plans — BEP - ISO 19650 workflows - Common Data Environment — ACC / BIM 360 - Model federation and model coordination - BIM standards, templates and workflows - MIDP / TIDP / LOD / LOI understanding - Clash detection strategy and issue tracking - Model audits and compliance checks - Digital handover / as-built model management - COBie / asset information is useful but not essential Technical BIM skills - Revit MEP - Navisworks Manage - AutoCAD / AutoCAD MEP - Revit Fabrication / Fabrication CADmep - AutoCAD Plant 3D / Plant 3D — highly useful - BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud - Revizto / Bluebeam useful - Dynamo / automation useful but secondary - 4D / 5D useful but not the main requirement MEP / industrial technical skills - HVAC systems - Plumbing / PHE - Firefighting / fire protection - Mechanical piping - Plant rooms - Equipment layouts - Pipe routing and supports - Shop drawings - Spool drawings - Isometric drawings - Hanger layouts - BOQ / BOM / quantity take-off - As-built drawings - Coordination with site and installation teams Ideal sector exposure - Industrial refrigeration - Cold storage / food production facilities - HVACR - Data centres - Process piping
