Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Role Overview: We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, availability, and performance of production applications and platforms. The role involves a strong combination of Java, SRE practices, Production Support, and Platform Engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain production applications and platforms, ensuring high availability and performance. - Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause analysis. - Develop and maintain Java-based applications, services, and automation scripts. - Implement SRE practices including monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management, and automation. - Support Platform Engineering initiatives to improve deployment, scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency. - Automate repetitive operational processes and improve system reliability. - Participate in on-call support, incident response, problem management, and disaster recovery activities. - Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to improve application stability. Key Skills: - Strong experience in Java - Hands-on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) - Production Support / Application Support - Platform Engineering - Monitoring & Observability tools - Incident & Problem Management - Automation and scripting - Cloud / DevOps environments - CI/CD and containerization knowledge is an advantage - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
