Please find below the Job Description for your review: EQUIPMENT ENGINEER Company: Penta Global Engineering and Construction Location: Abu Dhabi Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC Projects Penta Global Engineering and Construction is seeking a qualified and experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. Position: Equipment Engineer Experience: 8–12 Years Key Responsibilities: - Review equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables. - Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Monitor equipment procurement, inspection, testing, and delivery activities. - Review technical documents, drawings, and vendor documentation. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements. - Support equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. - Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution. - Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions. - Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. - 8–12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects. - Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment, as applicable to the project. - Experience in equipment engineering, procurement, inspection, and installation. - Familiarity with international engineering codes and industry standards. - Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. - project experience will be an advantage. - ADNOC project experience is preferred.
