Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Job Purpose To supervise and manage the day-to-day maintenance activities of facilities and ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and availability of all building services and equipment. Key Responsibilities - Supervise daily maintenance activities and allocate tasks to technicians and maintenance workers. - Manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. - Ensure proper operation and maintenance of: - HVAC and air-conditioning systems - Electrical systems - Plumbing and water systems - Pumps and related equipment - Building and general facilities - Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely completion. - Inspect facilities regularly and identify technical problems and maintenance requirements. - Supervise technicians and monitor their performance, attendance, and productivity. - Coordinate with external maintenance contractors and service providers when required. - Follow up on maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment requirements. - Maintain maintenance records and prepare regular reports on completed and pending works. - Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards. - Respond to urgent breakdowns and coordinate the required corrective actions. - Monitor the quality of maintenance work and ensure proper completion. - Identify recurring problems and recommend practical solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Qualifications & Experience - Technical Diploma / Vocational Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or a related technical field. - Minimum 5–8 years of practical experience in facilities maintenance. - Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory or management role is required. - Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. - Experience supervising multi-skilled technicians and maintenance workers. - Experience in residential compounds, hotels, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or similar environments is preferred.
