Director of Engineering

We are partnered with a leading industrial manufacturing business with a strong footprint in Asia and Europe, who are looking for a Engineering Director to lead and develop its thermal management portfolio. In this role, you will: - Lead the full product engineering lifecycle for Thermal Management solutions, including electrical water pumps, water valves, and ITMS products, from concept development through production and ongoing support. - Define and execute technology and product strategies that drive innovation, achieve design performance objectives, and support overall business growth. - Provide technical leadership and capability development for the China engineering team, strengthening expertise in product design, validation, industrialization, and engineering excellence. - Work closely with global customers and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective engineering solutions, ensure alignment on standards and strategies, and deliver high-quality products on schedule. - Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by promoting DFM/DFA practices, supporting successful product launches, optimizing cost and quality, benchmarking competitors, and mentoring engineering talent to build a high-performance culture.
