Origination Manager - Institutional Escrow

Titanium Escrow holds the money in a transaction. It sits in an account kept separate from our own, and it moves only on the instructions the parties have agreed in writing. That is the whole product, and it is why parties who will not hand money to each other will hand it to us. We act as escrow agent, custodian and paying agent on M&A, private capital, restructuring and real estate transactions across the GCC and beyond. Since 2020 we have held over USD 5B in escrow through our accounts. We are opening an origination seat. It reports to the CEO. The seat, in plain terms There is no origination function to inherit. You are building it. There is also nobody sitting between you and the decision, which cuts both ways: you will not wait a quarter for an answer, and there is nowhere to hide a slow one. The mandates you will be chasing: - Cross-border M&A escrows, where the parties, the counsel and the money sit in three different jurisdictions - Capital held for firms working through regulatory authorisation in ADGM and DIFC, evidenced by statement from our accounts - Paying agency on multi-seller distributions, and settlement and restructuring escrows - Real estate escrow for international buyers and sellers The people you will be dealing with: partners at leading international and regional law firms, corporate service providers running authorisation files, fund managers, family offices, and transaction banking teams. You meet them as a principal, not as a vendor. What the first year looks like - Own the relationships that refer escrow and custody mandates, and be the reason they refer a second time - Build the referral channel through ADGM and DIFC corporate service providers, including the capital fundholding proposition for firms in authorisation - Carry a pipeline end to end, from first conversation to signed engagement, alongside our onboarding team - Represent the firm with counsel and at industry events across the region - Bring structure to how origination is tracked, forecast and reported, because there is none yet Who this is for - Eight to twelve years in origination, client coverage or business development, in financial services or professional services - A live GCC network among law firms, corporate service providers, funds or banks. People who take your call - Experience selling a regulated service, and comfort working inside the constraints that come with one - The judgement to run a senior relationship unsupervised, and the discipline to write down what happened - Based in the UAE, or able to relocate Escrow experience is welcome and is not required. The mechanics are learnable in a quarter. The network and the judgement are not.
