Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 📍 Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE) 🏡 Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote (where applicable) 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time 🎯 Experience Level: C-Level / ExecutiveAbout the Role We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company's overall strategy, business performance, operations, and organizational growth in the UAE. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, shareholders, executive leadership team, and key business partners to define the company's strategic direction, drive sustainable growth, strengthen operational performance, and build a high-performing organization. The successful candidate will combine strong business judgment with executive leadership, commercial awareness, financial understanding, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and multicultural environment.Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute the company's overall business strategy and long-term growth plans. - Translate the company's vision and objectives into clear strategic priorities and measurable business goals. - Lead the overall management and performance of the organization. - Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure effective execution of approved strategies. - Establish organizational priorities, performance standards, and accountability frameworks. - Monitor revenue, profitability, cash flow, operational performance, and key business KPIs. - Work closely with the CFO and finance team to maintain strong financial discipline and business performance. - Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. - Review business performance and take appropriate corrective action where required. - Identify new markets, products, services, partnerships, and growth opportunities. - Develop strategies to strengthen market position and competitive advantage. - Lead business expansion across the UAE, GCC, and other relevant markets where applicable. - Evaluate major investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. - Ensure effective allocation of financial, human, and operational resources. - Lead and develop the executive leadership team. - Establish a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative organizational culture. - Recruit, develop, and retain senior leadership talent. - Set clear objectives and performance expectations for executive and senior management teams. - Ensure effective collaboration across Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, HR, and other functions. - Promote operational efficiency, process improvement, and organizational scalability. - Oversee risk management, corporate governance, compliance, and internal controls. - Ensure the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and governance requirements. - Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, Board members, investors, financial institutions, strategic partners, and other stakeholders. - Represent the company in high-level commercial, government, industry, and business engagements. - Build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic partners. - Lead major negotiations and strategic commercial discussions where required. - Communicate business strategy, performance, opportunities, and risks to the Board and shareholders. - Provide regular executive reports and strategic recommendations to the Board. - Monitor industry, economic, technological, and competitive developments affecting the business. - Drive innovation, digital transformation, and business-model development where appropriate. - Ensure customer experience and service quality remain aligned with business objectives. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and responsible decision-making. - Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and corporate responsibility. - Perform other strategic responsibilities assigned by the Board of Directors.What We're Looking For - Strong strategic leadership and commercial business judgment. - Proven ability to develop and execute company-wide business strategies. - Strong understanding of financial performance, P&L, budgeting, and business planning. - Excellent understanding of operational management and organizational performance. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. - Ability to lead and motivate senior executives and multidisciplinary teams. - Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities. - Ability to identify and execute new business and growth opportunities. - Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and business compliance. - Ability to work effectively with Boards, shareholders, investors, customers, partners, and government stakeholders. - High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism. - Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment. - Strong English communication and executive presentation skills. - Arabic language skills are an advantage. - UAE / GCC market experience is highly desirable.Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field. - MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage. - Typically 12+ years of progressive professional experience, including significant senior-management responsibility. - Previous experience as a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, COO, Executive Director, or equivalent senior leadership position is preferred. - Proven experience leading a business, business unit, or significant organizational function. - Demonstrated success in business growth, operational improvement, profitability, or market expansion. - Strong experience managing senior leadership teams and cross-functional organizations. - Experience with budgeting, P&L management, financial planning, and business performance is strongly preferred. - Experience working with Boards, shareholders, investors, strategic partners, and senior external stakeholders. - Experience in the UAE or GCC market is highly desirable. - Experience in international or multi-market business operations is an advantage. - Experience with business transformation, digital initiatives, M&A, fundraising, or strategic partnerships is beneficial.What We Offer -
