We're opening two opportunities this month for people who want to develop towards becoming appointed Financial Consultants, from any background. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬 Insurance and protection planning is the core focus. Subject to completing the applicable training, examinations and representative-appointment requirements, you'll be trained to support clients with: - Protection and insurance planning - Understanding a client's needs, priorities and financial circumstances - Retirement and long-term financial planning - Estate-planning discussions within your authorised scope - Presenting suitable solutions within regulated product offerings, in line with applicable suitability and disclosure requirements You will not be expected to provide financial consultation before completing the required licensing, training and appointment requirements. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 - Self-employed, commission-based engagement under FinMeister, part of the Advisors' Clique Collective under GEFA - A full-time commitment, but not a salaried employee position; there is no fixed monthly salary or guaranteed income - Earnings depend on individual performance, development and completed business - Progression is not guaranteed and varies by individual development and performance - Representative registration is subject to applicable regulatory, CMFAS, examination and fit-and-proper requirements - Training or examination support does not guarantee a passing result, appointment, earnings or career outcome - This may not be suitable for candidates who require a fixed monthly salary or guaranteed earnings 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 You will be paired with a mentor and developed through three stages: - 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: Learn the fundamentals, receive structured guidance and complete the applicable CMFAS examination requirements - 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫: Gain gradual exposure to client conversations and work with ongoing coaching - 𝐌𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: Continue developing alongside experienced consultants, some of whom hold ChFC or ASEP, and others who have achieved industry recognition such as MDRT You will not be expected to build a consulting practice with no guidance. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 - Singapore Citizen or PR status based in Singapore required for this engagement structure - Diploma, degree, or another qualification accepted under the applicable regulatory requirements - Best suited to those early in their career, and able to meet the applicable minimum age, examination and fit-and-proper requirements - Comfortable learning through conversation and coaching, able to communicate clearly without relying on a fixed script - Genuinely okay with a performance-based income structure, not just tolerating it 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 Two ways in, pick whichever fits how you make decisions.
