Analyst - Early Stage Technology Investing - VC

We are working with one of the region's most established early-stage technology investors on the hire of an Analyst in Dubai. About the platform An evergreen, founder-led investment vehicle deploying seed to Series A capital into entrepreneur-led technology companies across MENA, Türkiye and Pakistan. The platform has backed more than 100 companies over a decade of investing, with several holdings now valued above USD 1bn and a track record of trade sales and IPO exits across fintech, marketplaces, enterprise software, mobility and consumer. Sector- agnostic by design, with no fixed fund life -which means patient capital, conviction-led decisions and genuine flexibility on where and when to invest. Why the seat is interesting - Small, senior team - you sit close to the decision-maker rather than three layers below - Real ownership of live seed and Series A processes from first meeting to term sheet - Direct exposure to founders building category leaders in one of the fastest-growing venture markets globally - Portfolio support work: commercial diligence, follow-on rounds, KPI reporting, market mapping What the role covers: - Sourcing and screening early-stage opportunities across the region - Market and competitor research, sector theses and inbound triage - Financial modelling, cohort and unit-economics analysis, cap table work - Diligence support and preparation of investment committee materials - Ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting What they're looking for - 1–3 years in venture capital, growth equity or a high-growth startup in a commercial/strategy/finance role - Strong analytical toolkit 0 modelling, data handling, clear written output - Regional background strongly preferred; Arabic is a distinct advantage - Early-stage exposure (VC, accelerator, angel syndicate or founder-side) is highly valued - Curious, low-ego, comfortable with ambiguity and a genuinely lean team
