Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Physician with a focus on Dermatology and Aesthetics, based at Royal Dutch Medical Centre in Ras Al Khaimah. The physician will provide outpatient consultations, diagnose and manage general medical conditions, and offer dermatological and aesthetic treatments in line with clinical guidelines and patient safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, requesting and interpreting investigations, prescribing appropriate therapies, and performing minor dermatological procedures and aesthetic interventions as privileged. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, participating in case discussions, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and providing patient education on treatment options, prevention, and skincare. The physician is expected to adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, support quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Qualifications - Licensed General Physician with recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid eligibility or license to practice in the UAE or ability to obtain it. - Formal training and experience in dermatology and aesthetic procedures, including skin disease management, cosmetic treatments, and minimally invasive interventions. - Strong clinical diagnostic and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage acute and chronic medical conditions safely and effectively. - Proficiency in patient communication, including clear explanation of diagnoses, treatment plans, risks, and aftercare instructions in a culturally diverse setting. - Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in clinical audits, quality improvement, and infection control standards. - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and respect for all patients and colleagues. - Comfort using electronic medical records and basic clinical technologies; familiarity with privacy and data protection requirements. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in the UAE is an advantage. - Previous experience in a hospital or clinic environment in the Gulf region or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
