Position: Cantonese Transcription Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $20 - $35/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities - Transcribe and annotate audio recordings in Cantonese and English with high accuracy and consistency. - Review and refine automatic transcriptions, ensuring alignment with linguistic and project guidelines. - Identify and correct language nuances, speaker accents, and contextual cues within audio samples. - Deliver clean, time-stamped transcripts that meet specified formatting and quality standards. - Collaborate with project leads to resolve transcription ambiguities and clarify unclear content. - Contribute linguistic insights to improve AI training data and model performance. Requirements - Native proficiency in Cantonese, with strong comprehension of regional dialectal variations. - Demonstrated experience in professional audio transcription, particularly with Cantonese and English content. - Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic sensitivity. - Proficiency with transcription tools, audio playback software, and typing in both traditional and simplified Chinese. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and completeness.
