Role Description: The Project Engineer Electrical will manage and coordinate electrical engineering activities for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. This full-time hybrid role is based in Jubail. Role Overview - Position: Project Engineer – Electrical - Location: SABIC, Al Jubail (KSA) - Experience: Minimum 10+ Years in Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering - License: Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Lead the engineering lifecycle (FEED to commissioning) of corporate electrical CAPEX projects. - Contractor Oversight: Manage Tier-1 EPC contractors, review design packages, and resolve design conflicts. - Technical Review: Approve electrical drawings, substation layouts, single-line diagrams, and protection coordination. - Standards Enforcer: Ensure absolute compliance with SABIC Engineering Standards (SES), IEC, and IEEE codes. - Equipment Procurement: Oversee technical evaluations for critical HV/MV/LV equipment (switchgears, transformers, VFDs). - Commercial Support: Prepare Scopes of Work (SOW), cost estimations, and lead technical bid evaluations. - EHSS Compliance: Drive strict safety frameworks, attending HAZOP and risk assessment reviews. Candidate Requirements - 10+ years of solid experience within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industries. - Proven track record working from an owner/operator corporate head office or handling major EPC projects. - Expert knowledge of ETAP, AutoCAD, and industrial power distribution systems. - Strong leadership and communication skills to align cross-functional stakeholder teams.
