Job Description: Planning & Scheduling Engineer We’re Hiring! We are seeking an experienced Planning & Scheduling Engineer to join our team for Saudi Aramco–approved and others Potential clients’ projects, ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards. Role Purpose Responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and analyzing project schedules to provide management with reliable information regarding progress, critical activities, delays, forecasts, and recovery requirements. Key Responsibilities • Develop project baseline schedules based on contractual scope and milestones. • Develop WBS and activity structures. • Update project schedules using actual progress. • Monitor critical path and schedule performance. • Prepare look-ahead schedules. • Analyze progress against baseline. • Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks. • Support development of recovery and acceleration plans. • Coordinate schedule information with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors. • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards. • Support delay analysis and extension-of-time assessments when required. Qualifications & Experience. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of planning/scheduling experience preferred. • EPC/construction project experience. • Saudi industrial project experience preferred. Technical Competencies • Primavera P6, strong proficiency required. • MS Project is an advantage. • WBS and schedule development. • Critical Path Method (CPM). • Progress measurement. • Resource loading. • S-curves and progress reporting. • Schedule variance and delay analysis. GENERAL RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Candidates should demonstrate: • Relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position. • Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams. • Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule. • Professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization. • Previous Saudi Arabia experience is preferred. • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position. • English communication capability appropriate to the position.
