Chief Accountant – Job Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. - Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. - Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and applicable regulations. - Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance. - Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes. - Review accounting transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness. - Lead and support the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives. - Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for decision-making. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a Chief Accountant or senior accounting role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
