Job Description

Lead the opening of a new Hong Kong wellness club designed for people to unplug, reset, and reconnect. About the Role We are opening a new wellness club in Hong Kong, created as a calm space for people to unplug from daily life and return to themselves. The club will bring together movement, music, recovery, contrast therapy, mindful breathing, community events, and healthy beverages under one roof. We are looking for a hands-on and service-minded Club Manager to help lead the club from opening stage into daily operation. This role is ideal for someone from hospitality, hotels, private clubs, wellness, fitness, spa, lifestyle, or premium service environments who enjoys building teams, creating smooth guest experiences, and taking ownership of business growth and profit-and-loss performance. About Our Club The club will be designed across three floors, each with a clear purpose: - Ground Floor: a movement studio for group classes such as yoga, hot yoga, body movement, barre, and other wellness classes. - First Floor: a hi-fi lounge for sound healing, talks, seminars, shows, speaker sharing, special events, and a café serving health-focused beverages. - Second Floor: a contrast therapy space offering sauna and ice bath experiences, with possible breathing exercises or guided recovery sessions. Key Responsibilities - Support the opening and daily running of a new wellness club in Hong Kong. - Oversee daily operations across the movement studio, hi-fi lounge, café area, event space, and contrast therapy floor. - Lead, coach, and support a small club team covering front-line service, cleaning of spaces, barista duties, and part-time helper support. - Stay hands-on in daily service when needed, while overseeing that each service is carried out smoothly, consistently, and to the right standard. - Welcome members and guests, handle enquiries, and resolve feedback in a timely and professional way. - Work closely with instructors, practitioners, café partners, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. - Maintain high standards in cleanliness, hygiene, safety, presentation, and service flow across all club areas. - Set, communicate, and uphold clear house rules so members, guests, instructors, and team members can enjoy the club safely, respectfully, and comfortably. - Plan staff rosters, guide team performance, support training, assign daily duties, and help build a positive team culture. - Take responsibility for the club’s profit-and-loss performance, including revenue growth, expenses, margins, and practical business improvement plans. - Look for practical ways to improve the guest journey, team workflow, and member satisfaction. Who We Are Looking For - Experience in hospitality, hotel operations, private clubs, wellness centres, fitness studios, spas, lifestyle spaces, or other premium customer service environments. Wellness, fitness, yoga, spa, recovery, events or lifestyle service exposure will be a strong advantage. - Previous experience leading a small team in daily operations, including coaching, rostering, training, assigning duties, and supervising service standards. - Opening experience or experience helping launch a new venue will be an advantage. - Commercial mindset with experience managing budgets, sales targets, costs, or profit-and-loss performance. - Strong service mindset with confidence in handling members, guests, instructors, partners, and service providers. - Strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and guest etiquette, with the confidence to guide both team members and guests on house rules when needed. - Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay calm when handling busy operations. - Organised, hands-on, and able to manage several tasks at the same time. - Willing to be hands-on with daily operations while also guiding the team and overseeing service execution. - Comfortable working shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required. - Good command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin will be an advantage. What We Offer - Opportunity to be part of a new wellness concept launching in Hong Kong. - A calm, people-focused working environment centred on service, wellbeing, and community. - Exposure to movement classes, sound healing, café service, events, sauna, ice bath, and recovery experiences. - Opportunity to lead a club team and shape the guest experience from the beginning. - Career development opportunities for candidates who are passionate about hospitality, wellness, and team leadership. - Competitive remuneration package based on experience. How to Apply If you enjoy hospitality, wellness, people leadership, and the excitement of launching something new, we would love to hear from you. Please send your application with your updated résumé and expected salary to contact@silo.club.
