The Global Investment Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategy and overseeing global investment portfolios. This role includes evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting rigorous financial and risk analysis, and recommending strategies that support long-term growth and stability. The Global Investment Director will collaborate with senior leadership and legal teams to align investment decisions with regulatory requirements and the firm’s corporate objectives. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring market trends, managing relationships with external financial institutions and partners, preparing investment reports, and presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders. The role also includes establishing governance frameworks for investments, ensuring compliance, and optimizing capital allocation across regions. GLOBAL INVESTMENT DIRECTOR Fundraising | Project Finance | Investor Relations | Strategic Alliances Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Type: Hybrid | Senior Leadership | Project-Based Market Focus: UAE–India Primary Project Jurisdiction: India Reporting/Strategic Platform: BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment / BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE Company Description BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE, operating with the strategic investment and capital-management platform of BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment, is expanding its UAE-based investment and fundraising operations in Dubai. The group works across corporate legal management, LegalTech, investment structuring, project finance, business acquisition, strategic partnerships and capital advisory. The Dubai platform is being developed as an international coordination and investor-relations hub for financing opportunities involving Indian companies, projects, businesses and eligible assets. BLACKBULL is seeking a highly experienced Global Investment Director capable of independently developing investor relationships, originating funding opportunities and arranging capital for large-scale Indian projects. This is not a conventional sales, banking-operations or relationship-manager position. The primary requirement is the demonstrated ability to identify capital sources, develop institutional relationships, structure funding proposals and successfully coordinate investment/funding transactions through to execution. --- Role Description The Global Investment Director – Fundraising & Strategic Alliances will be responsible for developing BLACKBULL's international investor network from Dubai and arranging capital for qualified Indian businesses and projects. The Director will establish and manage relationships with: - Private equity funds - Venture capital funds - Private-credit funds - Family offices - HNIs and UHNW investors - Institutional investors - Banks and financial institutions - Alternative investment funds - Strategic corporate investors - International investment companies - Project-finance institutions - Sovereign-linked and development-finance platforms, where appropriate - UAE-based and international investment partners The successful candidate will be expected to originate and execute large-ticket fundraising mandates rather than merely introduce prospective investors. Core Responsibilities 1. Fundraising & Capital Arrangement Lead fundraising mandates for eligible Indian companies and projects, including: - Project finance - Corporate finance - Acquisition finance - Structured debt - Private credit - Equity investment - Growth capital - Strategic investment - Asset-backed financing - Business acquisition financing - Working-capital and expansion financing - Joint ventures and strategic investment structures The Director will be responsible for developing a funding strategy appropriate to each transaction and coordinating the process from investor identification through due diligence, term-sheet discussions, transaction structuring and closing. 2. Indian Asset-Backed Funding Develop financing structures for qualifying Indian businesses where eligible assets, properties, receivables, cash flows or other legally enforceable security/support mechanisms can form part of the financing structure. The candidate should understand how to evaluate: Asset value → Loan-to-value capacity → Cash flow → Debt serviceability → Security structure → Investor return → Exit mechanism. Where commercially and legally feasible, the Director should be capable of developing funding proposals involving financing of up to approximately 40% of eligible asset/property value, subject to independent valuation, lender/investor underwriting, applicable law, security requirements and transaction-specific risk parameters. No fixed funding percentage or funding timeline is guaranteed. 3. Investor Alliance Development Build a substantial international investor network from Dubai covering India-focused investment opportunities. The Director will be expected to: - Identify appropriate capital providers. - Establish institutional relationships. - Develop strategic investment alliances. - Arrange investor meetings. - Present investment opportunities. - Negotiate commercial investment parameters. - Develop repeat-investor relationships. - Create a pipeline of qualified capital sources. - Build long-term UAE–India investment corridors. 4. Investment Return Structures The Director should be capable of developing commercially viable investor-return structures based on the characteristics and risk profile of each project, including, where legally permissible: - Fixed or floating interest structures - Preferred returns - Profit-sharing arrangements - Revenue-sharing structures - Equity participation - Convertible instruments - Structured investment arrangements - Project-level participation - Joint-venture structures - Hybrid debt/equity structures All structures will remain subject to applicable Indian and UAE laws, regulatory requirements, tax considerations, securities rules, foreign-exchange regulations and professional legal/tax advice. 5. Dubai Investment Control & Coordination Platform The role will help develop Dubai as BLACKBULL's international capital-coordination centre for Indian projects. The Director will coordinate with Indian project sponsors, management teams, investors and professional advisors to establish appropriate reporting, monitoring and capital-management frameworks. Where legally and contractually appropriate, the platform may support: - Investor reporting - Project cash-flow monitoring - Capital deployment reporting - Reserve-account monitoring - Financial performance reporting - Investor covenant monitoring - Project milestone reporting - Capital utilisation tracking - UAE–India stakeholder coordination Any control over project funds, bank accounts, reserves or cash flows will be implemented only through legally valid agreements, regulated financial arrangements and authorised entities. The role does not involve unauthorised control of client or investor funds. --- Candidate Profile We are looking for an established fundraising and investment professional, not a candidate seeking to learn fundraising from scratch. The ideal candidate should have: - 10+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, investment banking, project finance, private equity, private credit, corporate finance, structured finance, M&A or institutional investment. - A demonstrable record of successfully arranging or closing investment/funding transactions. - Strong investor relationships in the UAE and/or international markets. - Strong understanding of Indian corporate finance and investment markets. - Experience working with large businesses, promoters, institutional investors and financial institutions. - Ability to independently originate investment opportunities and capital sources. - Strong financial analysis and transaction-structuring capabilities. - Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. - Ability to prepare and present investment proposals to sophisticated investors. - Strong understanding of term sheets, due diligence, valuation, securities, collateral, cash-flow analysis and transaction documentation. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders through the complete transaction lifecycle. - Strong understanding of cross-border India–UAE investment considerations. Professional qualifications such as MBA, CFA, CA, ACCA, FRM or equivalent finance/investment credentials will be advantageous. --- Mandatory Performance Requirement This position is intended for a professional who can deliver measurable fundraising outcomes. Markets covered. 6. Their specific role in each transaction. 7. Evidence of successful transaction execution, subject to confidentiality restrictions. 8. Existing investor and institutional relationships. 9. Typical transaction timeline. 10. Their proposed strategy for raising capital for Indian projects from Dubai. Investor introductions alone are not sufficient. BLACKBULL is seeking a professional capable of progressing transactions from mandate → investor identification → proposal → due diligence → term sheet → structuring → documentation → financial close. --- Compensation & Benefits BLACKBULL will provide a competitive fixed salary plus performance-based benefits, subject to the candidate's experience, seniority and mutually agreed employment terms. Travel to India and other jurisdictions may be required depending on project requirements. --- What BLACKBULL Expects The successful candidate should be able to build a genuine India–UAE investment network and create a repeatable fundraising pipeline. The strategic objective is to develop Dubai as a capital-allocation and investor-relations hub supporting eligible Indian projects and businesses. We are particularly interested in professionals who already have access to credible capital sources and can demonstrate the ability to convert investor relationships into completed investment transactions. If you cannot independently originate investors, structure fundraising transactions and drive transactions toward financial close, this position is not suitable. BLACKBULL is looking for a fundraising executor, investment relationship builder and project-finance specialist, rather than a conventional business-development executive.
