Assistant Engineer (West Zone)

Job Description - Responsible for the maintenance of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) and other field works - Implement and monitor service and maintenance programme - Support analysis and optimization of plant maintenance - Supervise and implement all maintenance processes including externally sourced contractors - Support maintenance contract management - Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems - Assist Engineer in calibrations and control troubleshooting as required - Assign and release work orders to the concerned maintenance specialists and contractors - Close work orders / service requests after completion of work - Ensure work method of maintenance activities comply with established standards and procedures - Assist Engineer to analyze and implement facility enhancement and improvement works Job Requirements - Ensure all maintenance records are properly documented for tracking and audit purposes - Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary - Administer Permit To Work system - Uphold a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with company's policies & procedures and government legislation. Understand safety requirements for Machine Guarding, LOTO, Permit to Work, Work at Height, Hot work, hazardous area classification and etc. - Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor BUSINESS SEGMENT Infrastructure PLATFORM Operating Division
